I finished my first Egyptian and apart from the amount of white paint I had to slap on he was quite easy to paint. I will continue to do a few a week until I have my first unit to keep some variety.
He looks good! I was really excited when I heard that Mike Perry was going to be adding Egyptians to the line. The earlier part of the war, where Egypt provided most of the fighting force, has been pretty muched neglected by figure manufacturers until now. I don't think I have ever seen anyone do bazingers before!
Are you planning on doing any of the more irregular looking units?
I am steadily working my way through the British regiments as a change from all those Beja. After that, as there will still be more Beja to do, I intend to start on the Hicks and Baker forces. Looking forward to doing Egyptian cuirassiers!
